Nice on Stellar, welcome to our board, hope to see you posting often ... love the Orient story, the home of orange coloured burgers Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Were a couple of southern whites next to us that night must off thought we were goners as we got led towards the gate by a load of stewards, we did indeed let the ****ers come back from a two nil lead, that's Leeds though not the worse part, be happier if we got the result but to travel and pay and fanny about just to not get in on a technicality. Will try and keep an eye on forums but you all seem too quick for me by time I click on a topic theres thirty odd replies and someones said something very similar to what I was thinking! I've just signed up to that twitter thing too so bit mind boggling at the moment with all this technology, spend most of my time in fields living in a tent but allows me a more or less full football season in between. I'm off over to signings topic, before you all kebe me out!
Sorry just noticed this have been drinking heavily and avoiding think about Leeds as much as possible, don't know if it was a retweet or what tbh will try to remember when sober.
I thought I would add to this as I cannot bear to go through some of the threads after last night I am a long term lurker on the Leeds board and I rarely comment. Given that I am also a Celtic fan I spent most of my time there. I was born in Scotland and moved to Ripon in 1985. My dad was a Leeds fan and he took us not long after we moved. I think we played Hull and drew one all. the day was notable as some arsehole told me santa had been killed in the Bradford fire. Other early memories are being there for Strachans debut which I think was against plymouth Anywhoo I went semi regular from the season after we won the league. I used to ball boy quiet a lot and if not doing that I often scraped around for tickets. I was in the kop the day Rod Wallace scored an absolute screamer against spurs - the last time I ever stood at football in the uk. favourite Leeds moment was in early 2000 when kewell scored against roma in the uefa cup. there was a real feeling at the time that the good times were back and there would be no stopping us least favourite would have been just before I left the uk around april 2007 when we were fighting to stay up. one nil down at home to Plymouth utter dejection at how far we had fallen, we went on to win that game and everyone was going mental, but you got the feeling that day that we were going down and nothing could be done about it. it was also the last time I was at Elland Rd
I recognise you from General Chat, did you used to be the shadowknows? Either way, great post feel free to drop in and contrubute anytime you like
Hi all Just to introduce myself I'm Craig from llanelli love Leeds United Support Leeds and llanelli town my home team. Llanelli is a small town in west wales but had produced three Leeds United players Byron Stevenson Glan Letheren and Matthew jones. What are your memories of these players?
Welcome Llanelli, Pleased to report that we have no racial stereo typing on here no matter what the thick Micks say. So put the sheep down and get posting. At least your not Scottish we have far too many of them and they always lower the tone. Mot.
Hi Llanelli, welcome to the site. Ignore Glory, he means well, but it never comes out like that. It's not really his fault - his frontal lobotomy keeps getting delayed because of NHS cuts. The one to watch out for is Elland, who is a secret scum fan who drives about in a hairdressers car. Allegedly.
Welcome to the Leeds forum pal, I remember Matthew Jones, he came through our youth ranks, played a handful of games, didn't we get a shed load of money for him?
Yes that's him I know his father very well told me lots of interesting things. He got a bad injury after a Garry maccalister tackle. Left Leeds for walkers crips for around 3m
