    I suppose the 1 year extension given to Isgrove means that they want to give him another chance to show what he can do, but aren't really sure.

    Glad it's not just me, he's grown on me this tournament. Having said that, Daley Blind can play LB or CB as he has tonight, and he's better than Vlaar.

    But Vlaar is more commanding and probably more what we are after is Lovren leaves (i.e. someone who can slot in without any problems and command the back 4). Cheaper as well (although older, admittedly) and has played under Koeman at Feyenoord

    In the Premiership you need someone with pace. If we are going to sign any Netherlands defender then please let it be De Vrij. Not seen much to convince me Blind or Martins Indi are anything special.

    I never really rated Vlaar until this WC and he has impressed me especially tonight's game.
    Ideal replacement for Lovren and Villa are in turmoil at the moment
