Their 'boring' style (that's a complete myth btw) demolished Italy in the last final 4-0, and that was a much better opposition than this Brazil side. I'm really not saying Germany aren't good. They're probably the best national team now. My irritation is that they're so over-loved in this country and have been for the last few years, when they weren't even that special for the most part. We played them not long ago, yeah they beat us but it was hardly a footballing masterclass they just got one goal from a set piece.
People like their efficiency and professionalism, it's something to envy and most England fans would be ecstatic if we could replicate it.

It's the camerawork that does my head in with ITV. After every stoppage they manage to miss the next attack by showing too many replays and if there's a fairly long stoppage they start showing those slow-motion clips of earlier moments in the game just so you can see someone's hair flick out as they head the ball or something.
