How come Robbie didn't fall over just then - good tackle, dispossessed....surely he's programmed to take a dive at that point isn't he?

PLT, it seems I'm not a 'football hipster' after all.

    "Your results

    23 out of a possible 60

Nope. YOU'RE NO FOOTBALL HIPSTER! You like goals, goals, goals, pronounce Milan as Milan rather than Mee-lan, and quite frankly you're not really sure you'd recognise a false nine if one came up and shook you by the hand. You've got some work to do. Start off with a video of the 1991 European Cup final between Red Star Belgrade and Marseille and work from there."

Messi is a better dribbler than Ronaldo, I'll give him that.

At the risk of going on a bit, if it's a ****fest you don't want then Germany winning it is surely the worst result. They haven't won anything yet and they're already everyone's favourite and have been for about 3 years. Imagine what it'll be like if they win it.

I think that's the exact score I got. I only meant it was hipsterish to say Ronaldo is better than Messi, and to dislike Messi which your post suggested you do.

I don't like Mascherano quite glad he just got a bump to bonce.

Never met him like it's just one of those unfounded dislikes that has no real basis....

I don't dislike Messi, he's one of the world's best players, just not THE world's best player IMO.

No i dont mean that. I mean throughout the Premier leagues season with Man Utd we'll get it constantly.

Why shouldnt the Germans get praise. 7-1 in a WC semi? They play football absolutely brilliantly.

    C'mon the Dutch!

Lavezzi & Higuain look pretty dangerous.

Tyldesley is a flange, harping on about how Mascherano shouldn't carry on playing because he took a little knock to the swede.

I recall nearly getting my head kicked off playing against Artic Ranger in the Wednesday league in 1988.

    Sparko'd for 20 seconds apparently.

Magic sponge round me chops to wake me up and I carried on playing.

    Mans game back then.

I'm not on about yesterday, at the last Euros and since everyone was raving about them. While Spain were totally dominant in world football for the last few years Germany still got more credit. It became cool to dislike Spain's style and call it boring but praise Germany who play a similar way. They weren't that good only a couple of weeks ago scraping a draw against Ghana and narrowly beating USA.

Spain's tiki taka style is boring, Germany just demolished the hosts 7 - 1, I think you need to let it go mate.

    I'm bored.

Can Germany play again? They're entertaining, and cooler to watch.

I listen to alternative music and wear converse.
