    Big emphasis on the *if* there though. When our players have made excuses we've put them down to trying to make the club look bad. Although this obviously has a far larger meaning in this case, we shouldn't be hypocritical and immediately side with the players account, just because it's emotive.

    I think they might have accepted this. They've been after a lot of strikers this window, though obviously one signing will be to replace Michu. Luc Castaignos looks likely to be the next one in, and I'll be predicting him to fail.
