Has he got boots to match the kit? If so, is the away kit red and black?

I absolutely hate all this neon multicoloured football boot nonsense. Garbage. I have just had to find a pair of astro turf trainers, in leather. Almost impossible due to all this plastic ****. Settled on a pair of Puma Kings.

Won't be anything and black i doubt since it'll clash with the home one.

They look like they're made from 2 different types of boots and poorly sewn together.

I kinda like those black and amber ones. I'd have definitely taken these as a teaser for the kit had they been umbro.

Out of interest why did they 'have' to be leather, if the majority of pro's are moving to synthetic materials does that not suggest there are some advantage to it?

Yeah, these composite materials are far superior to leather and plastic. I don't think they've ever even made boots from plastic as far as I'm aware.

    They are horrific.

Adidas World Cup's or Puma Kings in black are the best boots by a mile.

Synthetic uppers are better for the companies making them as they are cheaper. Synthetic uppers that don't let your feet breath are piss poor.

Why do professionals wear synthetic boots? Because they are supplied them free of charge by sportswear companies.

Leather uppers will always be a far superior material for boot/shoe making.

Ince wears a full black boot.

I had some Puma Kings back in the day, leather was softer than a fairies muff.

I always think talk of boots not being sturdy enough to prevent injury seems daft, they could make em an inch thick but they'd be a bit heavy and you wouldn't be able to feel the ball. As for breathability, christ I hardly think foot temperature is a priority for footballers.

The stuff they talk about to sell them is rubbish, but so is the popular notion that the ones from the olden days were better.

I'm sure you can still get leather boots/trainers anyway. Admittedly I haven't bought a pair recently but usually for any boot there's 2 or 3 variants with different materials and costing a different price. The top ones often cost over £100 but I think most of them are leather.

Winfield Four Stripe, any other boot is an inferior alternative.

Shoes that don't let your feet breath make them sweat. Sweat in a plastic boot is akin to running around in plastic bags. My feet sweat a lot, a plastic set of Nike astro turf shoes got thrown away after I had used them twice. Piss poor fit, piss poor materials, piss poor shoe. I am sure even some professional players have sweaty feat - therefore I can't think of anything worse than a synthetic shoe.
