Would like to know where these guys get their info from.. You think Jay Doubleyaa would give them a 12m discount.... http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...is-Suarez-deal-after-negotiating-12m-DISCOUNT I doubt it some how...
"Indeed, it is suggested that Suarez has stayed in Uruguay after the World Cup in the full expectation that he would be making a move to Barca ahead of next season." Is it easier to move from England to Spain in Uruguay rather than in, say, England then?
So? I'm not sure that makes much difference. Schurrle has been mooted by a few of our fans as a possible signing and he's not first choice at Chelsea. That doesn't make him a bad player. That's just a supposition on your behalf, or your opinion, unless you have a quote from Guardiola saying, or strongly implying, it. He might not fit into how Guardiola wants to set his team up for some games, as the best managers play the best teams not the best players, and this would also dependent on the chosen tactics and/or the opposition. Once again it doesn't mean he's technically inept (which isn't true) or not rated by Guardiola. If any other team lodges a bid for Muller you'll soon see if he's rated, or not, by Guardiola. Not liking him as a player is your prerogative, and liking him as a player is mine. The comparison with Kuyt is fairly accurate. He's athletic, hard working, technically very good, and can chip in with very important goals in big games. All good, in my opinion.
Latest speculation...Yaya Toure wants to leave City and Liverpool after him. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...ews/liverpool-fc-transfer-gossip-yaya-7394180 Football - Manchester City Training - Manchester City Training Ground - 10/11 - 16/3/11 Manchester City's Kolo Toure (L) and Yaya Toure during training Mandatory Credit: Action Images / Paul Thomas Livepic Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has put Liverpool FC on alert after reports in France claimed the Ivorian wouldn't return to the Etihad this summer. The Daily Express reports that Toure interests both Liverpool and Chelsea after Le Parisien quoted an unnamed Ivory Coast teammate saying: "He has accumulated too many grudges against [Manchester City's] leaders and he will not stay with them. "He will do everything to ensure his departure this summer." Paris Saint Germain will also enter the race for his signature should the 31-year-old confirm he is leaving. Toure aired his grievances with City earlier this summer after accusing the club of failing to acknowledge his birthday. Brendan Rodgers is targeting Dutch World Cup left-back Daley Blind, according to Ladbrokes . The Reds are rumoured to be ready to buy the Ajax star in order to solve their left-back problems, although his form in Brazil could increase his price tag to almost £20m. Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be interested in the 24-year-old. Roma are set to rival the Reds in the chase for Xherdan Shaqiri, according to Liverpool Offside . The Italian giants could make a £16m move for the Switzerland winger after Liverpool's own move has stalled. However it is thought that the 24-year-old would prefer a move to the Premier League should he choose to leave German giants Bayern Munich.
So if the transfer gossip is to be believed then it's Roma in for Shaqiri, Spurs in for Origi and Man Utd after ANOTHER LB in Ricardo Rodriguez(if this happens I'll be livid). Any other transfer targets we're going to miss out on? Apart from Sanchez obviously.
He won't leave, he's angling for money... If he does leave, he'll go to PSG, they're one of the few teams that can pay him the wage he wants.. Assuming he does want to come here.. City will still want a sizeable fee and on top of that he'll want £200K+ a week, for a 31 year old, no matter how good, that won't happen!
Interesting - I actually saw the tweet too, as someone I follow retweeted it. http://www.givemesport.com/483412-jackson-martinez-in-twitter-transfer-confusion What you reckon?
