Young, hungry, with bags of energy. I can't see him commanding a massive fee either. http://www1.skysports.com/transfer/...r-deandre-yedlin-attracting-european-interest A host of Europeâs top clubs are battling for American World Cup star DeAndre Yedlin, Sky Sports can confirm. There is interest from every top league in Europe following Yedlinâs displays in Brazil â particularly his performance against Belgium after replacing the injured Fabian Johnson. Sky Sports can reveal that three clubs have now made an official move to MLS for the 21-year-old full-back as he looks unlikely to be returning to play for Seattle Sounders. It is understood Italian duo Roma and Napoli and Belgian champions Anderlecht have all made firm offers for Yedlin. A spokesman for James Grant Group, who represent the player, confirmed to Sky Sports that talks were ongoing over his future. "DeAndre is now back in America following the World Cup, and yes talks are ongoing over his future as there are a number of options for him â but as yet nothing is decided," said the spokesman. The player himself said on his arrival back in the USA that he was leaving the situation with his agents. "I'm kind of letting my representatives handle that right now," Yedlin said. "They'll obviously get back to me on that information but for right now I'm just focused on Seattle." Seattle coach Sigi Smid added: "How many 21-year-old right backs have three World Cup games under their belt? That's a very exclusive market. It's something that we are proud of."
I'm with Flyer on this one, far to late now, his value will have risen greatly, the only thing in our favour is he might fancy the premier league as opposed to playing in Italy, but there's no guarantee's and im sure there would be others willing to take a punt on him
I'm with you on the pre-world cup scouting thing. But even so, players from the MLS rarely command a massive transfer fee. Got to be worth chucking our name into the hat.
Send DT to scout France, norway to scout Germany, Igor can do Finland. We should have Ireland easily covered. I think Beth is off to the US. I'll do eastern Europe as they have the hottest women, er I mean good footballers. Cmon Tony, you know it makes sense!
Has anyone seen him play for his club? All the WC shows is what a player can do in high profile games when playing for their country. Is he one to do it week in- week out?
No one knows, he could just be having an agyemang like purple patch where everything goes right. Best case scenario is overpaying for a good player. Worst case is overpaying a player whose been carried by his team mates, we've seen that before. Park, BAE, granero etc. Its why they say never buy a player based off one tournament.
I will do just that bully boy...errmh...did you mean do the women or scout the players If you mean the first one im already done that halfway...
I'll cover Texas and the Southern States, Tony - but Mrs Other R will make sure it's only the football I watch! I saw Yedlin in a pre-season game against the Dynamo. He looked good, but not outstanding - it might be that having better players around him brings out the best in him though.
Ok! That probably is more suitable for an old asshole like me About scouting concerned this one is a easy and obvious one should Caulker deal no go..... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niklas_Moisander
