What a shame Oscar got the consolation as I was going to say: 'Brazil did well to get nil'

If Germany or Argentina win it, do they get to keep the World Cup and we get a new design next time?

Hope not, as I like the current WC trophy.

Taking my £10 bet in Argentina to win the competition out of the equation, I bloody well hope so, or the final will be played between 2 of our worst enemies.

    Right, good.

Just thought it'd be like the Rimet Trophy won three times by Brazil

That was Brazil's biggest ever defeat that. (Technically joint with a 6-0 from 1920, but this is worse)

The fact is Brazil should never had been in the semi-final in the first place they were on the receiving end of some very favourable refereeing decisions in previous games especially David Luiz, Chelsea have got rid just in time. As for Chelsea's other Brazilians their value should have dwindled a bit now after this display.

I wonder how much we could get some brazilians for.

Every team needs a Brazilian,we must have one!

You want a Brazilian, Chazz wants a Belgian and Brady wants a Mexican. We really are disappointingly un-international at the moment aren't we?

I agree they weren't good enough to be in the semi but I don't think they've had favourable refereeing decisions since the Croatia game really (which was shambolic). I think it's more down to them getting quite an easy draw up to now. Easy group, and two easyish knockout ties.

I don't think Chile and Colombia are as you call them 'easyish'. They are both better teams than Brazil.
