I just had a quick peek at the Spuds board. Their transfer thread is talking about how well 'Arry has done to sign Caulker for QPR and then there's HIAG predicting that Poochy is their saviour and will knock Arsenal out of the top 4 Poor ****ers
You can take a spud out of the countryside (middlesex), but you can't take the countryside out of a spud. Nomadic yokels!
This time last summer we were hearing from Spurs fans about how their new expensively assembled squad, under the leadership of AVB was going to knock Arsenal out of the top four and challenge City and Chelsea for the title
To be fair, some of us wanted to sign some of their signings. I know a few on here wanted Lamela, i wanted Soldado, a lot of us wanted Capoue etc. I tend to blame the manager(s), rather than the players. They didn't just become **** overnight.
Lamela will still be a top quality player, he just needs to move to a club that can help him achieve that. He took some bad advise joining Spurs and the rumours are that he wanted out even a few months ago. Capoue was rumoured for Arsenal 3-4 season ago, but he's average at best and we're looking to sign players of the calibre of Vidal and Khedira in that position now. Soldado ... you wanting him at Arsenal tells us everything we need to know about you Kyle
Anthony ‏@antplas · Jul 8 While arsenal are signing Sanchez we have to deal with 48,000 training photos of Lennon doing **** all and soldado noshing off lamela #THFC
Pooch has been telling the press how he wants to win the title with spurs ..... ... eventually please log in to view this image
I honestly feel that before the spuds win the league or even the champions league England would have won the world cup by beating germany on penalties putting the english into the record books of winning 5 consecutive world cups
that would be only 20 years which is probably too short a period of time. the only way Spuds can win the EPL would be the scenario that a European Super League is set up and all the top teams [which doesn't include them lol] leave the EPL, so that Spuds would then win by default. or knowing them they would probably still come 5th, and West Ham would still beat them home and away.
West Ham have made a habit of beating Spurs at home and at WHL. Maybe Hammers fans should whistle the tune to 'Home and Away' when they play the spuds.
