You don't. Because really you don't have the option to get rid of either. Just like you don't have to pick a favourite film when someone does a fave film thread. I just thought that a difficult choice might provoke an interesting debate. But in hindsight, maybe I should've just said Homophobia and Racism - both awful aren't they? And everybody could just said 'yes'. That would've been better
Morning Fat Badly. I would argue racism is the worst of the two simply because the scale of it is much larger and far reaching than homophobia. However, any sort of intolerance based simply on a person's skin colour, religion, sexuality etc. is inherently wrong and is a sign of ignorance and above all else fear.
Morning Audio. Thanks for answering and not joining in with the "right-on" crew. I don't agree on the religion front though. Those losers claiming to belong to the Jedi religion deserve all the prejudice they get.
Thinking out of the box there. I like it. I think you may be plagiarising someone else though, small Austrian bloke with a side-parting and a little tache.
I don't think it's fair to compare the 2, racism is more visible, prevalent, has lead to many acts of genocide and terrible injustices, etc. If you weigh up the 2, then on the nasty things points tally, racism, historically at least, has been more obscene. As people have stated you can't compare, moreover, you should not be comparing 2 acts of inhumanity at all because they are so different and wrong is wrong. To state that gay folk seek to hide their gender preference is to deny their important political influence and their involvement towards change for the better. Gay people 'come out', it's a very painful and difficult process that says things like: 'treat me like a son', 'I'm not a freak', 'I refuse to be a victim'. Gay people do not choose to be gay any more than straight people choose to be heterosexual ...erm, just for your general information and I hope, education. To state that their's is less serious because they don't look like Didier Drogba is quite a weird train of thought in my view.
I think you should try actually reading my posts instead of assuming what I think. Assume makes an ass out of u + me
Loiner's mortally obese. The only memories he has of Leeds are 30 years ago in his youth. That's where his borderline-racism/homophobia comes from
They do a pride march here every year. Think they ship them in from Harrogate or York or some nancyhub like that.
