either they've taken their foot off the gas or Germany are feeling a bit sorry for them and want to give them a goal
Nope, never even thought about that. It's the average level of play, the luck they had in the games (Neymar's injury aside), and the dirtiness of their play. The fans jeering teams in which Brazil haven't been playing hasn't done them any favours either. Luiz gets derided because of his laissez-faire attitude as a centre back. It's oft been said he should be a DM. Don't hate him, he's comedy. I don't hate any of them on a personal level.
you could wrap him up in £50 million and he still wouldn't be worth £50 million, as once you had spent the money you would still be left with David Luiz!
On FM recently I was 4-0 up against Histon and then one of their players flicked a switch and scored a double hattrick. Food for thought...
But if you applied that to some of England fans, would you say they have much respect for other countries? it's been like the BNP on tour in years gone by. I don't remember any Brasil fans smashing up bars across the world time after time. As for the diving and cheating I hate that, but every team does that now, that's part of the game. I suppose because Brasil have been remembered for beautiful football down the years, seeing them adopt those tactics makes it seem worse somehow for them to be doing it.
What I want to know is why Brazil have o few strikers, they could have done so well with Diego Costa.
His name escapes me but I think I'll dig up the FM thread and upload the highlights because it was something else.
