Brazil only have 2 quality players (2 more than England, I grant you) so to get to the semis was good for them.

Spain humbled but Brazil's humiliation was so unexpected and total. Fair play to Germany for really taking advantage of Brazil's lack of control and driving home their superiority with typical ruthlessness. England got off lightly despite their miserable World Cup. The amazing thing is the scoreline reflected the total superiority of Germany and Brazil complete collapse.

The most telling statement for me came from Juninho, world cup wimnner and ex Boro player: He said "Germany taught Brazil a footballing lesson. And Brazil must be willing to learn how to play football from Germany".

I grew up idolising Brazilian football as number 1. If someone had said that in the past even a few years ago, I would said he was taking the mick but not after yesterday.

But this is no accident. It has been several years in the making. Look at how German teams dismantled the spanish Giants of Barca and Real a year ago. and showed that tiki taka may be approaching the end. The germans play as a team and they have been together for a while. No Messi, No neymar, No single star to rely on. A good lesson for Roy...<ok>

Yep, saw that interview with Juninio, he told it as it is. Not my favorite manager by a long chalk, but how on earth did Marinio extract 50 mill from PSG for David Luiz, he really was dreadful. But I don't think any Brazil plaer could say her put in a decent shift

But 50 mill that has to be the con trick of the century,

Luiz looks ok next to Silva and he'll get that at PSG, plus it's a piss poor league.

Crazy money but he'll do well there.

Luiz and Marcelo are simply ****e defenders, decent footballers but about as much use as a cock in a convent when you're up against a quality attacking side.

Maicon ffs - he got arse raped everytime he put on a Citeh shirt 2 years back and he's hardly improved with yet more miles on the clock - absolute mince.

The keeper struggled to get a game for QPR and their plan 'B' was a player who's first name was 'FFS' when he was at Goodison i.e. Jo.

They're a poor side, poorly organised and they lost their heads completely yesterday, an absolute car crash of a performance.

Good point Tobes, Not a lot of sympathy for the Brazilians, they thought they only had to turn up, but were outclassed in every dept.

The only one I felt sorry for was the kid in with glasses in the crowd . Breaking his heart, and how many of us can relate to that with our own kids in similar circumstances
