Fulham are mega desperate to get back to the PL at the first attempt. Desperation = paying over the odds. In saying that, Ross McCormack is/was the best striker in the championship.
But as many Leeds fans have stated on the SkySports site, he's had one good season as he did at Cardiff, and won't replicate that form every season. Apparently McCormack was involved in 61% of Leeds' goals last season which is impressive.

The fee for McCormack is mad. Good Championship player, but nothing more. His record over the last 6 seasons is... 24 in 38 4 in 34 2 in 22 18 in 44 5 in in 32 28 in 43 Going by them stats he can't put two good seasons together.
