Now Luke we have had many years of this, and there are reports in regards to this, I think we have more knowledge than you on it, whilst pay whilst they make a profit would say that after the 16k is where the profit lies, which is reasonable as they don't get the full gate receipts .

Now I don't pretend to know the Langston thing, don't pretend that you know the situation regarding the liberty stadium!

Saying they will only be making a profit when the attendance is above 16K is complete bull**** and you know it. Stop moving the goalposts, earlier that was the only criteria, yet know it means you turn a profit and can pay your rent?

Even assuming that 16K every swans game does turn them a profit, where are the gate receipts for the Ospreys taken into account in this little magic formula that only jacks know?

You shouldn't pretend to know the situation at the library either, because clearly, you don't.

Its a profit share, meaning the swans will always take the lions share, which means that profit will probably be made once the 16k is hit, so no rent is involved its about the management company turning a profit, and out of that profit comes a payment, of course nobody knows what the exact terms are, and suppositions are made on known facts!

As for calling my a liar lukey boy, I have no reason too, I have done enough research on this to know that this is the most likely thing , but without the council giving commercial facts out in regards to this, nobody will know all of it! Kinda like Langstone with you, they don't release the facts because between your club and them is not out on the public domain!

There two bits in bold for a very good reason. Obviously SOMEBODY knows the facts, but your stupidity aside, I know the facts.

"How do I know?" I hear echoing from within the walls of your 2-berth. Well, I'll tell you. There was a very interesting programme made by BBC Wales that was called "Dragon's Eye". In this programme, the swansea stadium debacle was discussed at length. The council and the SSMC were actually very forthcoming with their information, and told the BBC that no rent is to be paid until the SSMC make a profit (there was also a bit where the club were trying to rip the council off for even more than just the rent, but we'll gloss over that for now) Basically, anyone claiming that the swans don't have to pay rent until they get more than 16K through the gate is either a liar, and idiot, or both, probably both for thinking anyone believes their bullshit.

And I didn't call you a liar, I said you were either a bad liar or an idiot. After you posted this rubbish, I made my mind up. I'm 100% sure you are not a liar, happy?

The swans takes the lions share of the money for tickets, the remaining amount goes to the management company, out of that share they must make provisions for maintenance of the stadium, they are failing to do that, so the swans and ospreys have pumped money in to help to do that, its still not enough! So the management company will need to take more of a percentage of the money to ensure that they make a profit, the problem with that is it must renegotiated, which is not to the advantage of the clubs!

And I saw that programme myself, and the fact that they made some glaringly obvious mistakes, like for example not having anyone from either party discussing the findings, or saying the stadium cost £40m which it didn't! Any losses must be covered by someone, who do you think covers that? Put this way its not the council!

So the 16k would be where the management company would make a profit, the problem is that average gates have been 15.5k for the swans, and whole lot less for the ospreys! Next season the management company should be making a profit, and remember now there are two people from the council on the board of stadco, and one each from the clubs, so there is nothing being hidden!

And yet you still have no source to back up your mythical 16K figure.

I fully understand what's going on. The SSMC needs to make a profit for the council to have a percentage of said profit as rent. That bit I have already explained to you on numerous occassions. Grannies...eggs...sucking.

What you fail to understand, is that nowhere has the mythical 16K ever been mentioned. It may well be that 16K is the number where a profit is made, but that again fails to take into account the Ospreys gate receipts. What if the people who come to your games next season do so instead of going to see the Ospreys? You haven't increased the numbers through the gates overall because there will then be less people watching the Ospreys. What happens to your mythical 16K then? It gets blown out of the water and shown up as the complete nonsensical bullshit that, if we're honest, we all know it is.

And the 16k mentioned is consistent with other information out there, there has got to be a figure where a loss comes a profit, that figure is probably that ! And I have no errors of my ways as you put it, I will say what I think is the facts on past articles, reports and swans accounts over the years.

Now I am off to bed, and the person speaking bull**** by the way is you, because you are fully believing a report by cardiff branch of the bbc that provided no facts , oh except the ones they made up because nobody wanted to speak to them! They are as accurate as that other bastion of journalism the western mail

Before I pointed out the inaccuracies of what you (as a group, the jacks, not you personally) were saying, the only thing the rent relied on was the mythical 16K. Then you back tracked a little, and admitted that it was when the SSMC made a profit, but they definitely made a profit at the mythical 16K. Now you come out with the classic "I don't want them to know that I really don't know what I'm talking about so I'll be as vague as I possibly can" line of "that figure is probably that".

So you have finally admitted that the mythical 16K is in fact a made up number that COULD be the threshold for profit (but probably isn't)

Well done though, I'm proud of you. Takes a very big man indeed to admit that he heard a rumour, proclaimed it as fact, defended it to the death and only gave up on it when there was undeniable proof right there in his face that he was talking out of his arse <ok>
 
Lukey boy, no back tracking by myself at all, the 16k figure is there and it happens to tie in with other things reported over the years, and as I have paid to see the swans accounts it also ties in with what they say, but then you are just relying on a report on tv that has nobody on record saying anything, plus the inaccuracies of the programme itself!

And lukey boy I went to bed because I was tired not because I posted a message on some forum , as it happens I was working doing paperwork at the time and a little diversion on here and other places was fun, guess having fun is out of your vocabulary as you are definitely stressed out here, is it because the Swans are above Cardiff and are a far better club ? Now take a chill pill with prophet as you both seem to have a lot of anger ;)

The conclusions to be drawn are clear. You were completely torn apart by Lukey, and your above statement about the 16K attendance level is a load of baloney.

I've got no problem with you at all - one of the best Jacks to visit this board with decent chat about the game and each other's clubs, but on this occasion you were fighting a lost cause. To say you haven't backtracked is ludicrous.

Sparkey I disagree lukey boy hasn't said one fact that he can back up, so his conclusions are flawed as yours , the 16k figure is there, that figure makes sense as on average we haven't had that figure at our stadium, plus stadco has not made a profit otherwise payments would have been made, also as they have been making losses the clubs have been putting money into them, this is a fact!

Your problem is that you know sod all about club and make assumptions, I don't do that with your club for a couple of reasons, one I don't give a monkeys, and two I can't be bothered to find out as I don't give a monkeys ;)

Wrong again Jager - I haven't made any assumptions about your club - if you can find one, stick it up on here. I don't purport to know anything about your club/stadium/council arrangements, and have never said that I do.

It was you that came out with the "FACTS" about the 16K trigger point. In fact, all the assumptions are being made by you, and you've demonstrated it clearly on here for all to see.

This has become so boring now that I thought TesoKesa was back for a minute - classic DeWalt...........<laugh>

Now are you going to pay Ipswich or not - that was what the thread was about before you deflected it.
 
Sparkey are you going to pay langstone without proof of money owed ? Now you have just made an assumption as you think the money is owed , sort of detracts from the previous drivel.

And the 16k thing is on available facts, one stadco is not making a profit, which an non profit making company is not surprising, two the clubs are propping it up, three the council have not taken action as we know they can't!

And if the most commented thread on the Cardiff board which discusses Swansea City is boring, you know what to do, go to a lesser thread about your club and comment there, nobody is twisting your arm here!
