Is this happening in the City of Hull, City of Culture 2017, a city so often derided by all and sundry from the press to tv that in the space of a few short months we have signed, and seem able to sign, football players of reasonable ability and now I read that a massive, and it is massive for Hull, revamp for the centre of the city may be on the way? City are in the Premier League, yet again, we reached an FA Cup Final, and put up a good show if I may hasten to add, there is talk, only talk I know, that major investments in road and rail destined for the northern part of the country may even be extended into Hull and not to mention a major engineering company of renown has set up shop here. I will say it again, this is really surreal, really.

Isn't there supposed to be a destroyer getting docked on the Humber near the deep as well.

It's an aircraft carrier and it's way too big and the chances of it happening are slim to zero.

Apologies I should have put O/T on the title and in reply to ollyhcafc that idea has also been mooted from time to time, shame is we couldn't find a berth to keep our beloved Humber Ferries when they were retired.

Hopefully the revamp will extend to Anlaby road , which is to be honest a complete disaster zone . Not good for the viewing visitors .
