Yeah. Would have loved to have seen him play for us at Anfield. I wish him all the best, and I will enjoy watching him play in the PL. Except against us.
This season we're expanding the false 9 and inside-out wingers to include fully false wingers. Last season the diamond was used to accommodate Suarez+Sturridge, this season we will have just Sturrdige plus 2 false wingers and all 3 moving around interchangably, 4-3-3 with a regista and a total front 3 i.e. 4-r-2-t3
Lambert! We wouldn't be putting all our eggs in Sturridge's basket... for one thing- Rodger's rarely likes to keep him on the field for a full 90 minutes! I suspect we won't buy until we have cash from the Suarez sale. (probably why we're wanting more cash up-front... because our target is requiring cash up front).
i sincerely doubt we will put any egs at all in sturridge's crystal basket as its far too brittle. i would assume we go for a new striker to go with him and lambert's role as no 3 isn't going to be elevated.
i dunno. i quite fancy he'll go on loan after turning in here for preseason. i don't see us relying on him either
I'd rather he went on loan, provided he'd be starting every week. He needs games and won't be getting them at Liverpool yet.
