No they would want it instalments. Only Real, Chelsea, PSG, Monaco and Man U have that serious sort of money to pay upfront.

Clubs are becoming prudent because of "Financial Fair Play Rule". If Suarez cannot be sold so be it.

Should be on the agenda for today

    1. Tell the italians to do one, sick of the loan deal ****e, with a view to never going to buy, have they no players they can swap.

    2. Tell Barca to charge Arsenal more for Sanchez, pay in cash, enough so they can afford Luis

    3. Tell Southampton £25 million for Lovren is now really beginning to take the piss, for an above average defender that cost them a lot lot less only a year ago. Should move on, surely there are similar options elsewhere at less than 1/2 the price. Even if he does well lucky to ever improve in value much.
Knowing us will pay it and sell Skirts and Aggerdoo for the same, i'd just keep them!! And get a couple of decent fullbacks.
    e
4.Have a word with the scouting team, should be finding the next big things, but in the £8-£12 million range, not £20+ million,( i could do that) or buy the Southampton scouts, they found a £9 million ( or whatever) defender that is now worth £25 million only last year!!!!!!

I'm going to the pub tonight.
I'm going to negotiate my ale with the landlord. I'm offering him 50p per pint up front with a further 10p per mouthful.
If it gets me pissed then I'll pay the rest.

<laugh> I've tried that. It's not worked thus far. Also, landlords (and landladies) tend to lose their sense of humour when money is involved. Not fans of Marx or Proudhon would be my guess. Fascists!

to be fair most people do, but i get your point lol.

i had a tab once but that's only because the landlord happened to know me (friend of family)

do they still give people tabs now days? (ie clear debt pay day type thing)

What I meant was they are usually overly concerned with trifles (not the dessert!). <ok>

Our local landlord, a Chelsea fan :)emoticon-0119-puke:) from London, has lent some of the regulars loads of money (up to £400, in one case), and the amount of them that have just taken off (dickheads!) and left the area without paying him back is phenomenal (not a surprise to me, knowing the area).

However, he does still give tabs to people but does it really grudgingly. And he was like this before people stung him, too. It's like: "You want to borrow £100? Here you go. Two pints on a tab you'll pay tomorrow? Do one you muppet!" Definitely needs to work on his priorities.

I'm all for the saying 'take care of the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves', but it doesn't work if you're throwing monkeys around like a ******ed cockney zookeeper!

Poor guy. Bet he's gutted the chairman didn't let him leave in Jan now!

Sky saying he has doubts about moving to England anyway. Lack of ambition?
