Just heard it on Sky sports, but it's not confirmed, the lad said that Sky are getting reports that Fulham have offered 11 million.
Its all over ssn this morning. They've been running a piece on it quoting 11m. They seldom report stuff they can't back up Boggers. With papa smurf or gfh, it wouldn't matter what they got, it would have all disappeared into their off shore bank accounts anyway Boggers
Pearce should be made captain now. We got a great deal if we get anything like 11 million! Morning all.
Cheers Irish/Eire. Time will tell, but £11m, if true, will be very difficult to refuse. Not sure that Ross would be that enammered about going to Fulham. Not the biggest club in either the Championship or the PL.
If its true and the fee is agreed, then unless we buy ourselves a captain, Pearce would be a good choice given that he's arguabley our best CB & therefore more or less guaranteed to start.
I think the big difference between McCormack and Cellino is that McCormack has ambition - at least Massivego will have a war chest to fight his upcomming court cases
Ultimately Boggers, its his choice whether to go or stay as he has years left on his contract so he obviously is happy to go there. I suspect probably doubling his wage and moving closer to wallyland, softened the blow. Maybe he's hoping to get to Chelsea eventually as they're only round the corner aren't they ?
Just seems a little cloak n dagger. Im wondering whether the club asked him to stay behind and don't travel to Italy
Just seen SSN on the laptop. If he does go, good luck to him I say. He did his bit to try and get us into the top 6 last season. His beaviour in the BMD "sacking" fiasco when Cellino took over the club and his lawyer tried to sack BMD was positive. Will be interesting to see his attitude when he plays against Leeds this season and whether or not he celebrates if he scores against us.
Morning guys. Read about the Rossco deal - seems a very good price for you. I did hear there was sell-on clause in the contract when we (Cardiff) flogged him to you? Any idea if that's the case?
For me, this is the first real acid test for cellino. He said he wouldn't sell Ross, but I think most of us would accept that, whether had much of a choice or not, it's the kind of deal that's hard to turn down. Our team as it stands now without McCormack looks like relegation fodder, so how much he reinvests back in to the team, the calibre of the incoming players will not only dictate the season and the medium term fortunes of the club, but answer a lot of questions about his intentions and ambition.
Cellino said he would not sell to a championship rival and Fulham will deffo be right up there going for promotion so cellino was true to his word
Wales online reporting its 25% of £9M which Cardiff will get in 4 installments with the other £2M is promotion/appearance based add ons which Cardiff will not get - fooked if I know how that all works!!
