I wont be happy if we do no more business, but I'm quite happy with our business so early in the transfer window.

Colback is a geordie, and I can tell he can't wait to put on the shirt for us. It will be good to have a passionate lad in the team to give us more of an edge, and perhaps a lad that will mature into a future hero for us.

He played well for Sunderland and put in a shift at DM and LB. A great signing for nothing.

Siem De Jong. I'm a little nervy since he had an off period at his previous club, but the bloke has potential. Hopefully we'll get the best out of him, and he'll prove himself a real asset. I'm happy with him.

So far so good, we have 5 weeks until the new season. 2 good signings. I know we have that Reyez kid, but I know nothing about him.

    P.S.

Apologies for not posting that often recently, I've been busy with ****. But now I've stopped stressing and I'm getting back to football!

I said I wouldn't be happy if we do no more business, as we need a couple of strikers, but we have a passionate midfielder, who's a local lad and we got him for nowt, plus we have a talented CAM in the squad who can also take up a captains role.

That's decent business SO FAR. If we sign a quality striker and a decent back up, and perhaps keep all but one or two of our current crop, I'll be happy.

Agreed. But, considering how our previous windows have gone, the fact that we've signed a good, solid, young, passionate DM, and a strong, talented CAM, is good so far, no?

Considering how there's still a world cup going on, and negotiating with players is tough, I think we've done ok so far.

If Ashley wants us to stay top half, at least, then he knows he'll have to spend, and I think he will feel a twinge in the arse and buy players. Our 2nd half last season was terrible.

I'm very happy considering the window has only been open for one week. I think we'll get cabella, a striker and another at least. We need a quality striker. The quality of the striker will determine how happy i am.

We've made a solid if unspectacular start. Better than some, way behind others. Pretty much agree, I'm ok with it but I just have no confidence we will will finish the job!

I'm reasonably happy with the signings we have made. However I have no faith in MA and co to bring in all we need. Due to their usual cost I'm especially doubtful that we'll buy a striker with the required quality to bag us 15 or so goals a season.
