    Why the angst against Sanchez?

I didn't see too much effort being put in by LFC to convince him that he was both wanted here and that it would truly be in his best interests to join. So he goes elsewhere - no great deal.

Lol... I have no problem with Sanchez- from me at least, it is more bemusement. Of course we wanted him- but he's done nothing wrong by choosing someone else- that is his right! Dirty Sanchez!

I think everyone's just having a bit of fun to be honest.

More chance of us signing Gary Neville as first team coach.

    You're probably right.

The lad's a good player but no more than that. It appears to me that the club don't appear to know what kind of player they actually want. Nobody so far mentioned appears to be the 'game changer' that we appear to need.

Oh come now Diego! The season hasn't started yet and you're already starting with the Black Humour.

OK so it's unlikely that United will make the top 10 let alone the top 4 but you could at least attempt a token claim that they just might <ok>

I have no intention of telling you (or anybody else) which part of the post i was laughing at. I always think imagination is much better than most of real life

Ah! the dismissive double-blind. Such a poor and over-used strategy. :emoticon-0116-evilg

I was more upset we didn't go for Costa, I know the Chelsea move has been on for a while but we could have at least driven the price up!!! Way better than sanchez imo.

Lets face it we will not find a direct replacement for Suarez and to look to do so would only end in disaster. I'd rather us get 2 decent strikers to double the chance one will work out!

Even when Suarez does go our remaining striker still outscored everyone else in the league last season!!!

This is a good point, and has been largely overlooked so far.
Suarez helped him get there of course, but it's important to bring in players who can create chances as those who can put them away.
