Connor Wickham was in the high cross a few months back and now we being linked with bidding for him. Maybe there has already been some interest in our part. Obviously we can't official talk to him unless Sunderland give us permission but either its a coincidence or something may have been happening from the start of the summer
But the Leicester is some way from Sunderland. It might be putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5. But come on the high cross isn't that good to travel half way across the country so he must have been in the area for a reason Sunderland have told him they want him to hurry up and make a decision over whether he wants to negotiate a new deal or leave so I think we might know more in the next week
Was Wickham actually seen in the Highcross (pub or shops?) by a reliable source or was he spotted by someone's neighbours, aunts, sisters dog? And unless we've started to follow the 'Arry school of transfer dealing, I can't see us arranging a rendezvous in M&S. I was in Birmingham 2 weeks ago but I'm not signing for Villa either....
