  1. Fair enough but its not going to continue is he? My point was more about them competing as a team so wouldn't the others (only know of Fromme) have similar times and therefore could continue but as the lead man instead? Or do they continue with Cav's times as they are a team?

Cause I was out recorded the ITV coverage. I was out at the end of Oughtibridge climb on Jawbone hill, which was shown. Where I actually live, Grenoside was missed out cause of the bloody adverts. It was between Oughtibridge and Herris Road (Hillsborough).

Best part was it was a nice day to be out, sunny and warm and got close to the action.

No,each individual will have his own time.
Team members will get split up time wise cos' out of the nine team members they will have different strengths.
There will be sprinters like Cav,specialist climbers, domestiques to do the spadework etc.
The Sky team is set up to get Froome to Paris in one piece and wearing yellow.
Cav was after the green jersey which is awarded to the best sprinter (if watching you may have noticed intermediate
sprints, then there are stages made for sprint finishes also

Think they'd run out of most of the stuff when they got to us, fairly close to the end only Jenkin Road climb after us, so they threw out some but not much. Some Key Rings, Yorkshire tea bags and what I think were car stickers. Didn't get any though.

The advanced car also gives you a warning when the riders are about to approach as well, estimated time, gets people buzzing also get people to get out of the middle of the road. At least for the lead riders gets messy after that cause people aren't sure how many are left to come through and when they'll get there, that's when you get people virtually on top of the riders.

  11. I've got a health & safety shake down meeting in the aftermath of our event a couple of weeks ago. Got people in high places coming along to tell me off because they weren't happy about something just before the event <laugh>

    Risk assessment central.

Enjoy mate, H&S bods have their own way of making a sensible subject into something beyond banal.

I like how we are developing a bunch of poets on this site.

In the past ****hound would have been sufficient but now the addition of the adverb "gushing"... it makes things much more.... colorful.

    again prose would be helpful.

"how was your gruesome anniversary shag?" for example

then.... " it comes prematurely and then goes very quick like an english hammer pounding tin" for example
