    Well the deal is done! Luke Ayling is heading our way with Brendan Moloney going to Yeovil. The deal is set to be announced on Monday. So what do we think then city fans? Great bit of dealing or no?

    I liked Moloney but this deal is best for everyone. If Ayling joined and Moloney was still here the guy would have been wasted on the bench/reserves. Can't wait to see this team play against Sheffield United!

    It was hard to see Maloney playing - so good to reduce the wage bill

    We will have the better player,but yeovil get a very good player ln Maloney.

    Moloney is a decent RB and WB and YTFC won't notice a difference.
    I saw Ayling 6 times last season and he looked decent in the Championship.
    However Ayling is at a very good age, can also play in a back 3 and should develop further.

    Cotterill loves Wagstaff and rates him a better WB than Moloney.
    That I will never understand.
    I'm hoping he's after Ayling because Ayling and Little would provide a great balance down our right.
    A great balance and there wouldn't be a place for Wagstaff.

    Apologies to those who noted Wagstaff scored against Portishead.

    Wags is a good squad player, and if we are operating on a smaller squad this season we need players who can fill in effectively

    Players will be leaving as well as coming in, and there is plenty of time for shocks

    We should be seeing Luke Ayling holding the Bristol City scarf today! Will be interesting to see how long his contract is. Funny feeling it will only be 2 years..

    If its only two years, maybe that is what he wants. Because if we are still in League One, he will be free to leave for the Championship.
