Your board has been full of **** since day one "long-term ambition" = blow up mid-season "Shaw and Lallana not for sale" = Shaw and Lallana deals in place "no players sold until new manager" = some of our best players sold before the new manager turns up "you can leave Lovren" = we won't inform you of any interest
Don`t think you will find many Reds who would class that as "ripping the piss", he is speaking the truth. He is on the downward slope of his career and would probably have been a bit part player for us next season as we try to get a settled back four in place, Inter can offer him first team football and Europa League so it is a step forward from where he would be if he stayed.
Are you very young? I just ask because you have that arrogance of "I know it all" that often crops up with teenagers and the like. Instead of that, try realising that some people might know a little more about certain situations and occurrences than you do. Listen to them and then try and learn stuff. It's really helpful, especially when trying to discuss things or argue points. There might be......just might be.....a chance that Southampton fans know a little more about Southampton, and their players, then you do. I would never lecture a Liverpool fan about the goings on at their club because I'd realise they clearly would know a lot more about things, particularly in a complex situation like that which is occurring currently down at your feeder club on the South Coast. Just a suggestion. I'll leave you with it.
There is a difference between lying and just not informing somebody, Southampton had no need/obligation to inform Lovren as the clause had not been met.
I tried to have a sensible discussion about Lovren and that didn't really go down too well Apparently was not very tasteful and they wouldn't like to see me at a funeral
The "ripping the piss" is intrinsically linked to the fact that "it's funny cos it's true" Don't deflect, Inter would be a step forward even it Vidic started every single game for Man Utd. That's how far you have fallen. Don't forget it.
We have had one bad season in 25, you have had one good one. Thats how quickly things can change, don`t forget it
If your contracted to the club, anything to do with you needs to be told, it's all part of a working relationship. Imagine you got good feedback from someone but was never informed as they didn't feel you were obliged to know, wouldn't you feel hurt by that? End of the day, any bid which has been tabled the player should been told regardless if the bid was going to be accepted or not.
This is typical Liverpool, always in the right, always the victim and the sense of entitlement bred by the 70's will always have them thinking they should have everything football related go their way. If a host of Liverpool players suddenly decided to revolt against the club to move to another albeit better one the fans would be calling conspiracy and try and somehow blame it on the FA. Take for example the Liverpool v City game last year when Skrtel punched the ball out of the box, most Liverpool fans just laughed it off in a fair play to him **** the rules sort of way despite the fact that all you ever heard from them 20 years previously was that every senior official and referee in the english game were conspiring for united's success and the failure of Liverpool. I have no doubt in my mind Liverpool's extraordinary luck has run out and these players who yearn for Cl football will be dissapointed when they never see the past the group stage and fail to qualify the following may.
What is the point of telling a player about a bid that has not met his buy out clause, the intention of the other club is to unsettle him and by telling him you would be helping to do this. I seem to remember last year a player was allegedly not informed about a derisory bid, can`t remember who it was though.
