    I'd happily stump up £8 million for either of Marshall or Forster, they're both great. Although, I'm not too sure a goal keeper should be one of our primary targets.

    We have Boruc and then... Davis (who I believe is still injured), Gazzaniga (remember his displays) and Cropper.

    WE NEED ANOTHER KEEPER.

    Desperately. I can't believe that with money coming in, people aren't seeing that. It was probably our number 1 problem position last season, followed by striker.

    All I can think is he means "you should play for a club you love" as in, Liverpool and not Southampton.

    We dropped quite a few points with Boruc out injured - Spurs, City and Villa could all have been home wins by having a better goalie. Add a point at the Etihad and we finish 7th and a point below Spurs and a EL place.

    Yes, we might not have won those matches even with Artur in goal but with him picking up injuries these days we can't afford to not have 2 decent keepers. And 8m out of our pot of 70m or so seems reasonable to me.

    I suppose you're right. I was more thinking about Boruc being first choice than remembering our other options are utter trash.

    No. We were in 3rd until we had a major defensive injury crisis, but I've realised you don't bother with facts or learning about stuff, just the voices in your head.......
