Those harmonics are something else. Jaco had such a great ear for creating those textures. He played the bass almost like a piano.

 

The harmonics on the low frets are so tough to sound, yet he plays them with such clarity. What a genius Jaco was!

My favourite bassist of all time however is Patrick O'Hearn, a short-lived Zappa alumni. Check this out:
