    I don't think Tadic is quite exciting enough of a prospect to have such a saga of a thread. Saint Victor had be gripped from beginning to end, but this is getting tiresome.

    I think it is because it is a Dutch transfer... Italian and Spanish clubs really know how to conduct a transfer...with much rending of clothes and tearing out of hair.

    Would be refreshing if when (if) he signs for us, his first quotes on the official site are:

    "I'm really only here because Southampton offered me more money than anyone else at the time of the fee being agree between the clubs. I wasn't sure about coming here, but the money is good and my agent says its a good place to use as a stepping stone to a bigger club. I'd like to let you know that I'm pretty much a bit of a ****, so don't get too attached to me... and anyway, if I turn out to be ****, you will all boo me and call me a **** online. If I'm good, I reserve the right to pander to your affections by badge kissing and talking about how lovely the club is, before asking for a transfer whenever I see fit.... COYR"
