It's strange. After Lyon fans hated him so much that they actively campaigned online to sell him, you'd have thought he'd appreciate what he found here. Goes to show how much we as fans really mean huh?

Not saying he shouldn't want to move, but he should at least show more respect.

No, Twatbeard was moreso for me. He was our captain and "Mr Southampton" who wanted to retire here. At least Dejan hasn't pretended anything like that.

I agree. HE just said I love it here, I love you guys, you are the best. Every week, for 9 months. Didn't keep kissing the badge and pledge his future to the club though. Can't wait to be rid of him now.

Van Dijk or any of the Feyenoord lads sound good to me. Just someone who actually wants to play for the club and the supporters would be nice.

 

I agree. Dejan is a twat, but hasn't quite outtwatted Lord twatbeard yet.

 

In the way he has gone about it yes, he just eclipses Lallana for me. As far as losing a player for his footballing ability, I think losing Adam will hurt us more, as I think we can find someone of the same quality as Lovren, Lallana will be harder to find a replacement for in my opinion.

All things considered, we helped resurrect this guys fast declining career, and deserve more than this from him. Of course, Lallana went about it in a nasty way too, but I can almost stomach it a bit easier as we had years of service from the guy (although that then makes it grate more but in a different way!).

Is this what Adam spent 4k on trying to correct the echo debacle?

I think it has come out that he never really felt that way though, at least not recently? I guess that is grounds for extremely twattish behavior though as he shouldn't say those things if not truly meant.

 

This one has angered me more, I think. Lallana never said anything like this about Liverpool whilst he was still a Saints player.

 

Isn't saying those things just the internet equivalent of kissing the badge though

Think they have both handled it realkly badly.

 

We've had some tossers and the sooner they're gone the better. We need to start rebuilding soon though. Surely Les Reed knows he needs to appease the fans pronto.

 

Adam gave us a number of years and contributed to our rise...Lovren came when we were a decent side, then tries to skip after a season in the EPL which put him in the shop window. He owes us, so I'm voting him for enemy number one.
