Don`t know what your comments were Bonnet but we all know there are sensitive spots that should not be poked, same as on our board. If a possible inflametory comment was made and deleted it is no biggie, people are usually only banned for persistant poking of sensitive areas.

No guarantee the Suarez money will be used for new signings Diego, Rodgers was given a certain amount to spend pre World Cup and the Suarez issue/departure wasn't factored into it.
FSG could use the Suarez money as part of the refurbishment of the ground, its a just wait and see thing until there's an official statement.

Fair point, but supporters usually expect a windfall to benefit the team, especially after the loss of their best player. I thought selling Ronaldo would mean a few players for us but it never happened.

Exactly, and the Ronaldo money was said to be ready to spend when the right replacement was available?

Difference with the Suarez thing is his departure was a shock and unforseen in its circumstances wheras Utd were given a little time to plan ahead.<laugh>

We knew about the Ronaldo transfer before he signed his last contract, i suspect Liverpool may have known about Suarez in the same way but the bite has caused problems with the agreed/expected fee <ok>

Yeah, I don't mean we didn't expect him to go Diego, I mean we didn't expect it to happen in two weeks during the world cup.<laugh>

Liverpool selling Suarez will have no impact on the team performance and league standing, just like a few seasons ago when they over achieved and finished 2nd and the exact same will happen this season but 4th might be possible and I would bet money they wont get out their group... And yeah at least they have European football blah blah blah lol

The RS won't have the biting cheating racist getting cheap penalties for them. Also the exceptional luck they have had with refereeing decisions last season is unlikely to be repeated. The likely position for them is group stage in the CL and 5th in the premiership. Once in a while they get all the luck going and were it not for Rodgers and Stevie ****ing up they could have got the title. I can't see this happening for another 10 years..<ok>

Suarez knocked over lesser sides for them.

And Gerrard is dreadful these days.

They need a quality Matic-type holder. Gerrard is not up to it in big games

I dont think we will go thesame way as spurs, I dont believe we were quite as reliant on suarez as they were on bale tbh. I am sure many ofyou will disagreewiththat, but what I say in response to those is : how did we do when he was last banned at thestart of last season? We have a very thin squad so suarez will be missed, he also created a lot of entertainment ( along with alot of anguished).

I think we have a reasonable chance of getting top four next season but think that you lot will finish 3rd. I dont 'expect' to get out the group stage of cl, but hope that we do, and if we do, I dont expect much more tbh.

I think that I have reasonably modest and realistic hopes and expectations for next season,.

I look forward to our battles on the field next season. See you there guys.

150 million is needed for the alterations to take the capacity up of Anfield to a massive 53,000. You can bet some of the money from sewer rat will go towards the rebuilding costs

Agree that Spurs were much more a one man team under Bale who scored so many crucial winners in 2013.

Equally the funding of new Anfield is completely separate from Suarez cash

The question is, why are we discussing two champions league rarities on the united board?

To be fair to you (and utd fans) this is the most lenient board on here, although many may suggest if you banned rival fans it would be like a ghost town! but regardless, you lot on here can take any banter, try posting on other forums with any sort of risky banter and the mods will ban you at some point.

Emre Can could quite possibly be that man. For £10mil we got an absolute bargain - I think people will be surprised how well he does in the PL

Can we get this myth finished once and for all.

I HAVE NEVER ASKED FOR A YSB TO BANNED FROM HERE!

The poor hard done to scrote, who shall remain nameless, chucked his dummy out and asked me to ban him, which I refused. So why it keeps coming back up is beyond belief

Much rather have him posting all his drooling over Loserpool, it's always good to be entertained with humorous stories. And if anyone can show me where exactly I requested a ban, please show me, otherwise can we move on from this nonesense?

Mate calm down, it doesn't matter if you asked him to be banned (or not).

Welsh Dave is just a menopausal drama queen Boss, he knows that nobody accused him of asking for a ban.<laugh>

His problem is he thinks he owns this board and decides who posts on it, but the sheep worrior hasn't got the wisdom to understand that he doesn't.
