The problem that I disagree with them? You seem to be back to your ways of "I'm going to try to make people seem stupid" rather than "I'm going to actually discuss a point".

 

In terms of Southampton it's a big appointment and when you look at it compared with Alan Irvine or Gary Monk then it's definitely showing ambition.

 

Yeah it's certainly not a bad appointment like Alan Irvine, I'm not saying it is. It's just how some people seem to take it as a definite statement that we've got Champions League ambitions or whatever that I disagree with.

 

I'm not sure what I prefer - the angry and sarcastic CBK character, or the "everyone pay attention to me I'm making some edgy jokes" CBK character.

 

There are those you can discuss "points" with and those who are so up their own arse, it's "point-less"

 

Luckily I couldn't care less. Say something interesting, possibly in relation to the love of the game and southampton football club... I dare you.

 

I dont trust them entirely yet either but it was Katerina that must have signed off the expenditure on Staplewood and continues to do so. Koeman has got teams into the CL and we have been told we will reinvest in the squad. Until that changes I will take it on face value.

The board do have to back all this up with some quality players though and pretty quickly.

 

But some do know a few things that go on.

 

we probably move in different circles but i've not seen quite such expectations. I do think we can move forward under Koeman, but we look like we'll need a season of transition

Come on guys and gals let's stop with all the negativity and focus on the positives for the upcoming season like potential new signings from the Eredivisie and YAY STRIPES ARE BACK EVERTHING IS RIGHT WITH THE WORLD and accept facts and move on I'm buzzing now for the start of the new season who do people think we will sign I think we will get Bony and James Rodriguez and Cuadrado and play them in a 3-1-4-2 forget twatbeard and poch and cortese and co they are gone onwards and upwards COYR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plenty of people are using it as evidence of ambition to get better than we are, when in reality it's probably a step down from Pochettino. If people aren't saying that, then surely it's admitting that we've given up on the Cortese plan and therefore saying Lovren and Lallana are very much justified in being pissed off about that?

Yep. I say give the board a chance before having a go. They seem to be dealing with situation ok given how bad it was. Yes if they replace the players leaving with **** and spend hardly any of the cash recieved I will moan. Until then I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and see it as players wanting to go to a bigger club. Some as in Shaw and Lambert handle it well and don't bitch. Some throw their dummy out of their pram and bitch in public until they get what they want.

Yes under Cortese they may have stayed but we will never know if that would have been true. People need to stop looking at the past and the could haves. They need to see what happens in the present before judging if it is better or not.
