I find out amusing when posters say X player isn't good enough to replace Suarez. There are only two players in world football capable of doing that... C.Ronaldo & Messi and quite simply, we aunt getting either. Everyone else is a downgrade!

The biggest problem we face is morale. Both fans and players will be down about losing Suarez, he was our world class player. If there isn't an attempt to replace him with a quality player we will pay the price. Also the signings thus far are all players I would hope we could sign if we didn't have European football at all!

thats a fair point but he'd be out for a third of the season anyway. Joking aside, do you trust Brent to re-invest the cash wisely? His record in the market so far is largely pants and your summer additions are expensive meh so far imo. Suarez was always likely to go this summer given his age and his desire to play in Spain, so this can't have come as a great shock to those in power at Anfield, plus the willingness to negotiate says they're happy to part company anyway. So given that, they surely had some form of plan?

Only one of Skrtel or Agger will be sold, but there's interest in both hence the Lovren bids from us. I like Lovren, him and Sakho could be our next partnership. Anyone know what's happening with Toure?
More on Lovren. Southampton defender Dejan Lovren has demanded to leave St. Marys, saying: "My head is already at Liverpool." Toure has apparently held talks with another club but that is all we know. I will miss Skrtel if he goes. Lovren, Sakho, Agger, Skrtel and Ilori would make a great set.
