Sorry to start a new thread but I could not find the previous references. Looking at the OS it seems that we will be getting radio commentary only, not video? Had to laugh at their changing kick-off times to allow people to watch the Argentina match, How long have the Wiorld Cup matches dates and times been known? One year? Longer?
Anyone have a schedule london time or sydney time ? CAFC website has a countdown currently with 1hr 21 min remaining
See here Oz for video link and times http://www.cafc.co.uk/news/article/20140705-watch-live-philips-stayen-cup-1718101.aspx
The good news is that it is live video, not just audio. The bad news (for me) is that the commentary is too faint to be audible. Anyone else having that problem?
Ru saying i am a prince ? Rum is the drink of choice today hey ? I am keeping the coffee in full flow here !
Well that was a waste of time. Lots of possesion and passing but only one shot. Mouusa looked good but faded, Buyens started brightly and faded. Loic Nego a bit of a bright spot, did much more than I expected. I know it was only 45 minutes and we had triallists and dev squad players but we should have done a bit better.
I think we can safely say that it was eleven players put together on a field rather than a team. The reason had to be to inflate the liege ego of Duchatelet and possibly allow Peeters to have his own way in team selection ( I did what you asked for the friendly now let me get on with it). i think the team against the minnows will be better but not necessarily that much. This tournament is as much about inflating egos in Belgium as about football.
