if he's set on liverpool the club should definitely hold out until he can't play against us at anfield, which would also give us plenty of time to get our replacements in.

 

Yep would make sense the BBC said the '20m' offer from Liverpool was well below 20m. It makes the stuff I have heard about him(can't say atm, but makes him a bigger twat) look even more true.

 

It's not all theory really. It's players wanting to go to bigger clubs some handle it well and don't bitch or put the club down. Others say they will strike and tell their mum if they don't get what they want.

Pretty disgraceful what are players are reportedly doing. I'm honestly finding it quite hard to understand why they're going to such extremities to force moves away. They can't all have been ******ed enough to think we'd actually get into the top 4.

I believe that the board saw the deals for Lambert and Shaw as good deals, they didn't want to sell Lallana. Time to stop.

Then they should have been firm, then at least the players would have to come out looking bad. However, the club wouldn't because you never know when an offer becomes too big to turn down. The confusion arises because we are open for business, but only at a very high price. This gives players like Lovren expectations.

The profit we make on him has nothing to do with Lovren. If I bought a picture in a car boot that turned out to be a Picasso, I would sell at a Picasso price not just look to double my money.

 

Look it's quite apparent that Lovren does not want to be here so we need to shift him as he will have a bad effect on the rest of the squad. Personally I hope we get £25M from him as it will easily be enough to bring in two CBs Just as good and we will be stronger for it.

Schniederlin has behaved very well so far, And if Koeman can persuade him to stay and he does so proffesionally then that's really the star we needed to keep out of all that have gone.

Bottom line, I don't want no prima donnas at this club., The club is bigger than any of them.. And we would of rinsed Liverpool for potentially £55/60Million on 3 player Surely only worth £30M. Happy days.

What he says about the board shouldn't just be written off as "an excuse". He's a dick for saying "my head is already in Liverpool", but what he says about the board is pretty shocking, and it fits quite well with the rumours of them not communicating with the players and not doing the hands-on part of the job Cortese knew was so important. You've got to save some blame for the board who have clearly played a big part in players wanting to leave.

 

In fairness, I don't think any of us really know who's in charge at the club either. I can't imagine Liebherr does much given that she's not really qualified, Reed will be on football stuff, Krueger isn't really qualified for anything either and seems more of a figure head, then Rogers and Hofstetter take finance? Not really an overall leader in there. My worries about the board haven't disappeared just yet.
