He plays a different role now, less busy, he just kind of hangs around picking passes and knocking it about, he's a fantastic player still. Less eye catching maybe, no less effective. What an amazing World Cup this is by the way. Even if Costa Rica go out on pens, they go out officially unbeaten, and given the opposition, wow. What a story.
I can't say I know anything about either of them with penalties but I can't imagine Van Gaal is too daft.
