Isn't it pretty standard for football fans to go to matches wearing the shirt of the team they support?

You really are scraping the barrel in choosing that as something to mock...

Funny thing is, every World Cup match so far, the stadia have been filled with fans all wearing replica shirts, it would appear that only Ipswich don't know how to support their team!

No, it's not 'pretty standard' at all dan, possibly for those under, say, 15 yrs of age, but for grown men..?

A replica football shirt is hardly the epitome of sartorial elegance, is it?

This year's this week, as I do every year, I can't afford to travel to matches, so that's my little bit of support. You lot are the very first team I've known that don't buy the shirt! Must be embarrassment I guess!

The first part of that is just plainly not true at all and I think you know that really. If not, have a look in the crowd of tonight's game (or any other game for that matter) and you'll see plenty of people over the age of 15 wearing them.

My boys have all the shirts since they were born, as for me, I buy the shirt every season and I am proud to wear it! This thread is a complete WUM attempt and demonstrates the puerile minds that some of your boys have!

Seriously Dave, no football fan with any bit of nous about them wears colours, especially at away matches, without colours you can slip the OB, go in what pubs you want to, not be shepherded about by Plod, makes perfect sense.<ok>

For what it is worth, I quite like the retro shirts.

They are just a bit classier.
