Lallana mates etc are coming out and defending him, saying the club is a fault as "the dream died" instead of admitting he moved to a bigger team because he wanted to. So yet more bullshit.

I bet his 'best' mate who came out on Twitter a while back saying he's staying feels like a mug. Don't know if mentioned here before, but my mate gets his hair cut at equinox in southampton - where Lovren always went. Apparently Lovren had his hair cut after the season and said he wouldn't be going back there as he was going to leave Saints. They put it on Facebook/twitter and got a lot of abuse so deleted it.

The appointment of Koeman clearly shows the board have a desire for the club to push forward, but at a realistic pace and not breaking the bank to do it

Be very afraid if we get any loan deals from Wenger.

Would have said we don't do loans, but I'm not sure what we do now. We need players and Ron may be happy if he has had good experience of loans before.

feyenoord did loans. different financial position though.

Guidetti and Pellé both came on loan, It turned out to be a handy trial system int he case of Pellé

I don't see the point of loaning players from teams that are interested in our players. I don't want it to be a bargaining tool.

Doesn't make any sense to just rule out loans. Ronnie Ekelund was a loan. As were Antonio and Waigo.

I wouldn't rule out loaning altogether. Everton did correctly last season but we have a nice budget. We could just bid for Campbell. If morgan does want to go badly we can use it to our advantage. Obviouly it easier said than done.

Papa is up to his old tricks I see, at Al-Raed now. He has been plying his trade in the UAE and Saudi Arabia for a few years now. Here are some goals from the man, during his stint at Al-Wahda I think:

What a strange decision to go and live in Saudi Arabia though.

No-one is in this region for the scenery I'll tell you that much. The food is really good. But it's all about the money.

I remember telling a friend to count how many times he was caught offside after he was subbed on, once. In half an hour he was offside five times.

I wonder who would win in an offside contest between the Papa and Osvaldo?! Especially when I saw him play in the Europa League for Juve, he was flagged for offside countless times! I think there was a stat that during his Juve stint, Osvaldo was caught offside more times that any other player?! Something like that anyway.
