According to Catalan newspaper AS, Liverpool could offer Sanchez a giant contract worth £150,000-a-week if he changed his mind and wanted to move to the Merseyside club. This is just embarrassing if true...
I meant embarrassing that we have to offer substantially more than Arsenal to try and bribe him into signing for us. Don't have a huge problem with the figure, especially as it's softened by losing Suarez's massive wage.
Why? Aren't we already paying Suarez something similar, probably more? Quality players cost money, not just in transfer fees. And if we want to see players like Suarez and Sanchez playing for us we have to out bid rival clubs (we'll never be able to out do Chavs and Citeh though)
Hasn't had much support from his Midfield to be fair to him, Hazard overrated ****, De Bruyne greedy, Mirelles invisible & greedy, Fellaini is Fellaini.
What about medel from Cardiff? Was good for Cardiff and looked very good for chile at the works cup. Could be available given their relegation and would provide a competitive defensive midfielder.
At the moment it looks something like Ins: Origi Bertrand Lovren Lambert Lallana Can Markovic Outs: Suarez Agger? Lucas? Coates? Aspas? Borini? Would anyone be actually impressed/happy with that?
We have about £60m and now selling Suarez for £70m, ignoring other sales, thats £130m to spend. If that results in bringing those players, no, I don't think anyone would be happy.
no, wouldn't they near enough cancel each other out in terms of totals as well, so we wouldnt have spent our £60 mill transfer budget and sold a world class player to balance the books and weaken the team. i would be pissed if that is what it will end up as, and one of them goes back on ruddy loan.
