Good morning Yorkie, good morning all. I haven't commented in the Nest for a long time. One of the main reasons is the constant drivel posted on our Forum in our nest by GTH, I visit the nest most days and enjoy my daily coffee (thanks AK) and the tales of OFH, Yorkies trips, Mex's commets Theo's stories (even the ones you can buy, it seems story 3 is nearly complete) But why do we have to tolerate the Idiot who masquerades as a Panda (do you think he took on the image as they only have sex once a year and usually fail and he can relate to that) My best wishes to you all, looking forward to a great season ahead, I,m now off into the background again.
Morning all, Wimbledon tennis, F1 at Silverstone, Tour de France in Leeds and the World Cup somewhere else. Coverage of all these events on TV without having to pay. There are some things that make living in the UK worthwhile.
I got one of those satellite dishes, but I couldn't see anything on it so I've gone back to watching my telly instead!
Hi Charlie I think we have prided ourselves over the years as being a friendly hospitable board...... But yes this is all getting too much now... and as you will see people aren't even posting so much in the Nest too.... I think our friend really needs to shut up or, regretfully, be shut up....
Anyone who knows me knows how much I loathe censorship. However reading this board over recent weeks it does seem to me that Hoops is pushing his welcome too far. When I read that someone as respected as Charlie Livesey has stopped posting because of GTH's drivel and that the very moderate (if rather Green) Yorkie also has been pushed too far then I have to ask who we should be supporting. May I make a suggestion. Would one of our Mods set up a poll asking regular posters on here whether they wish GTH to be banned. Personally I will vote against as I do not like the idea of banning people that you could ignore - but if there is majority in favour I would go along with it. My guess is that most people would want him banned but I think we need a Mod to institute such a poll.
Unfortunately if someone replies to his inane drivel and includes it as a quote, then it is displayed even if (as I have) you choose to ignore him. Personally I feel that he contributes nothing to the board and would not be sorry to see him banned (or have a spike driven vigorously up his backside).
