I've been away camping in Cornwall for my holidays. Never again. It is suicidal at my age even with an inflatable mattress.

Why would anybody go camping? It's sleeping on the ground, for god's sake.

I've never been to Polperro; usually go a lot further down as we have family in Cornwall.

Brazil team doctor says Neymar is OUT of the World Cup.

SporTV, Brazilian TV network, say he has broken ribs.

It's worse than that. Neymar has fractured a vertebrae in his back.

Stay at home. A campimg holiday still costs money, so skip it and go on a proper holiday next time.

If everything is so pro Brasil, including the refs as some seem to think, why was that challenge on Neymar unpunished?

The ref had plenty of opportunities during the match to red card players from either team and didn't because he was a lenient type of ref.

All this talk of FIFA fixing it so Brasil can win, is absolute rot in my opinion.

The ref made the challenge happen tho. He didn't stop allthe niggling lil fouls from Brazil. They then turned into dirtier fouls so Colombia started doing the same.

Yep that's true, he was too kind and should have shown some cards sooner than he did. The 1st was for Silva for a pretty meaningless run through on the goalie, yet before that, as you rightly say there were some pretty robust challenges and fouls going on.

Games between these two neighbours have usually been feisty down the years. The main three powers of South America have traditionally been these 2 and Argentina. If the final is between Brasil and them it's likely to be even more explosive.

hoping that Germans do them over, Brazil have lost that magic, its now win at any cost which is not the Brazilian way. If you think back just 3 years ago when we were playing in yellow and people were saying its like watching Brazil, that would be an insult now

The Colombian team are arriving back on Tuesday and a parade has been organised, they lost but played with pride and style, hoping the new generation of English players take note

It was a shocking tackle yes but it was the culmination of an absolutely inept display of refereeing which had made the game a no holds barred event. To say that one unpunished challenge means it wasn't a one sided refereeing performance is a little naive. He was ignoring many more niggly fouls from Brazil than he was from Columbia.....

......however with the way the modern game is it isn't really a surprise. If all the players are simulating all the time (including James R on occasion) then it can be a hapless task for any ref let alone a poor one. When every player these days is 'trying to draw the foul' rather than 'trying to beat his man' then you will get hurt eventually. No I don't mean felt a touch, I mean hurt.

I am not advocating that Neymar deserved what happened, just that I won't be crying too much over a player that simulates throughout every game being missing from the next few games. I hope he recovers quickly and I hope he plays football and not the drama so much when he comes back. Cry wolf too many times and all that.

I think you got a dodgy fake Brazilian mattress, you need to complain to the League of Inflatable Latex Objects in Eichstätt, Bavaria.

Brazil's main tactic was to kick the **** out of rodriguez so they can hardly complain
