Neymar wasting a bunch of time there - perhaps he is genuinely injured, but he's a boy who cries wolf too often.
Not sure Neymar wasn' t just wasting time there and then thought he better stay hurt til they got him out of sight. I hope he'll be back to bury Germany
Was the Brazilian sub Henrique the lad we wanted to sign under **** Hughes but he couldnt get a work permit?
He was genuinely injured there imo. Hope he's back against Germany though, so that there isn't any excuses when sie Germans knock them out ♫ Oh wie ist das schön ♫
Can see he's attempting to keep it 11 v 11 but second half he's let too much go ... The lack of cards had just let people think they've got carte Blanche to foul. It's actually stopped the flow for large parts. He's also got 4 or 5 decisions just plain wrong. James been kicked all over the shop and he's one of the most skilful lads on the park. However, I know what you're saying... He's tried not to be card happy and that's commendable i suppose
It being Germany they will win anyway. But if Brazil play like they did first half today, and Germany play like their 2nd half earlier, they won't need any help from the officials.
James did get some extras. But the Ref gave Colombia a free kick right outside the box for a Brazilian high foot, but the Colombian's was even higher.
Yes..another bad decision! Brazil reminded me a bit of England trying to defend... just sort of all over the place !
An organised and disciplined Germany will dismantle this Brazil side. For some reason the ITV commentators tonight held Brazil in some kind of saint like esteem. They could do no wrong in their eyes. It seems like you're not allowed to speak ill of them.
Could be, could be...but that kind of statement is bit dangerous knowing Brazil. So far they have defeated Chile and Colombia. Two very good sides and yet some people think that germans will easily beat them just with better organised and disciplined team. German will be tough nut to bite and Thiagos stupid card will help them a bit but ill go with Brazils win.
Neither side have shown their best football yet my friend, so it should be an intriguing tie. But then I guess that all of the fancied teams have looked considerably average and have done just enough to get through. Brazil, Germany, Holland and the Argies I feel, have at least another two gears to move up to.
Now if Harry had been in charge he could have probably secured a work permit as Rosie's dog walker/groomer, with a bit of football on the side? Wonder what sort of difference he might have made to Hughes' squad? We will never know. Queens Park Rangers have reached an agreement with São Paulo that could make the Brazilian striker Henrique Mark Hughes's first signing as manager. The clubs are now believed to be in discussions over whether Rangers take Henrique on loan initially or buy him outright. Reports suggest any loan could be for 18 months, with a permanent transfer costing around £5m. The transfer is subject to a work permit being received for the 20-year-old, who was voted player of the tournament at last summer's Under-20 World Cup in Colombia but has yet to make his senior Brazil debut. Henrique has hailed the potential move as "a fantastic opportunity". He told the Sun: "I know a lot of clubs are interested in me. But when I spoke to Mark Hughes and QPR, they made me feel very excited about their plans. I want to go to a club with ambition. "The manager is known everywhere. He played for great clubs like Manchester United and Barcelona. As a striker, I know I can learn so much from him. I've always wanted to play in Europe and, for me, England has the most exciting league in the world." http://www.theguardian.com/football/2012/jan/17/qpr-striker-henrique-sao-paulo QPR thwarted in bid to sign Brazilian striker Henrique please log in to view this image QPR have failed in their bid to sign Brazilian striker Henrique after a work permit application was turned down. Henrique had spoken to new QPR manager Mark Hughes about joining from Sao Paulo on a reported 18-month loan deal, with a permanent transfer option. The 20-year-old, the player of the tournament at the Under-20 World Cup last summer, claimed the move was "a fantastic opportunity". However, the BBC understands that the club will not appeal at the decision. A QPR spokesman said: "He didn't get a work permit for various reasons." It was determined at a hearing on Monday that Henrique did not satisfy the required criteria for a permit. Reasons for the refusal would have included his limited experience in club football, and the absence of senior international caps. Henrique had told the Sun : "I know a lot of clubs are interested in me but, when I spoke to Mark Hughes and QPR, they made me feel very excited about their plans. "I want to go to a club with ambition and to play in London would be a fantastic opportunity. "The manager is known everywhere. He played for great clubs like Manchester United and Barcelona. Hughes, whose first game in charge ended in defeat by Newcastle United on Sunday, is also chasing Blackburn's Chris Samba and Chelsea's Alex as he seeks to bolster his defensive options. Well that's a given. Neymar would have gone down like a stack of cards if he'd felt a breeze but it's a shame he is actually injured for the rest of the tournament. Now the rest of them will have to show us that they know how to play. The Colombians, James especially should be commended that basically they tried to play football in spite of the brutality meted out to them. It's amazing that the one bad challenge they made ended up with Neymar being injured. From what I've seen so far if either Brazil or Argentina go on to win this tournament , they will be the least deserving World Cup winners the Tournament has ever seen.
Would this be the worst team ever to win a World Cup? They seem to have got horrendously lucky or had the benefit of one-eyed refereeing in every bloody game.
