Hands up..never heard of him before...but i am a kinda blinkered footy fan as only care about city and concern for teams around us when season in full swing...dont really care who wins prem as long as not Arsenal.
Rodriguez is a bloody incredible player, but his teammates just aren't at the races here. It's a bit like watching Deano and City from 1992-95.
Was just thinking the same thing. Colombia are a big robust defence and Rodriguez, the rest are total dogshit.
This refs such a yes man. Players just have to fall and look at him to get a decision. That Colombia free kick for a high foot on the edge of the box was ridiculous.
I think the governing body for Ref's has rolled out a programme of '**** it we're in South America'. The amount of simulation has been unbelievable and I don't recall seeing one booking.
Half expecting 2 or 3 nil after 1st half so shud be good 2nd half....James taken out deliberately twice which is to be expected i suppose but hope he romantically scores the winner dumping Brasil out!
Yeah. It's clearly not a priority for the refs, they just keep rewarding it. Rodriguez rolling round like a silly **** and then instantly gets up in a rage when he realises Fernandinho wasn't getting booked. No one even minds, ref does nowt, commentator doesn't even mention it, it's seen as a skill in South America. Needs stamping out cos the game is in real danger now, it's never been as bad as this even when we first started seeing it with Klinsmann and his generation of foreign imports. Seems like it's only the fans who want rid of it.
convincing acting by diving will soon be counted as a skill...as only a few of the worlds best can pull it off..ala Klinsmann..then Rivaldo taking it to a whole new level!....its cheating fair n square but yeah only the fans hate it...its actively encouraged by managers now...fact
