    I agree. The referee should have just played on. I'm just amazed that someone thinks it was a foul by Fernandinho after seeing the replay. Sorry about that!!

    Well I'm coming from it from a referees point of view because by the laws of the game it is foul. They were both fouling because both their feet were high so he had to give it one way or the other. That's all I'm going to say. And the referee's had a terrible game so I'm not sticking up for him apart from that decision.

    Hoddle thinks Fernandinho is on a yellow and might be off if he commits another foul. This sums up the situation with the referee and him leaving his cards in the hotel room.
