    Ribeye.

Has anyone noticed (you can give honest answer as well Gas, we won't tell anyone) that since the normal bantering a lot of the good posters have dropped of their board?

You're asking me if I have noticed if their board has gotten even quieter due to ridiculous rules that nobody else on not606 live by?

Can't say it looks any different...

Medium to well done for me. I can't stand it when you go out for Sunday lunch and my beef is pink. If I wanted it rare I would eat it when it's in the field. Man created fire so cook it

Longer you cook it the more flavour it loses! My mum used to cook my steak and I used to hate it, she would cook it so well it was like ****ing rubber! To dry. Rare to Medium is the way to go!

How to cook a great steak.

A ribbed gridlle pan heated to red hot. (don't put steak in till its red hot.!)

Oil the steak not the pan.! good quality olive oil.

2 mins 20 secs each side for rare.. season each side with salt and pepper about 30 secs from the end or you draw out all the moisture..

most important, let it rest for 5 mins before eating. the meat will re-absorb all the meat juices.

This works I have tried it many times..!

Well I have to cook 3 steaks, I cook mine last and by the time I get to mine that pan has been red hot along with the oil that has appeared in it for 10 minutes. If I cook it for any longer than 2 minutes a side then goes well done. 1 min 30 on each side then 30 seconds on each side after. Works every time and its delish!
