this, i think(dont want to speak for everyone else lol) but i hoped we would stop at Lambert, he made sense(at the time anyway ie pre luis bollocks) and was a good option from bench, lallana not sure on, esp the ****ing price!
Rumours of Sanchez, Kadheira and Debuchy to Arsenal. They would all be great signings for them. They will still not another top striker though, unless Walcott plays there.
Debuchy and probably Sanchez are in the bag, think the Khedira one was from Mundo Deportivo, which as we know is full ****, so we'll see what happens on that one. Sanchez's agent started following a bunch of Arsenal players on twitter last night, not exactly definitive(see Willian) but is another indication that Arsenal are the most likely destination for Sanchez.
Well so far we're not doing anything better than the Spuds selling Bale! Lambert, Lallana, Lovren.... Good enough for a top half finish- but not really top 4 material. Lambert I can see- pads the squad for not too much money. Can, I'll wait before passing judgement on- but overall not been impressed with summer dealing so far. Numerous- but not likely to help us finish higher.
fully agree, they're all tatty signings that were akin to what we used to sign in EL. We have ****ing CL and we're losing Suarez to be replaced with Lallana and co. we need to make a real statement ffs - it's not like it'd cost much more - Lovren and lallana combined cost 45 million, 45?!?!
Apparently had £18m bid turned down as Saints want £25m. Time to walk away, £15 would have been decent and doubled What Saints paid. £25m would be ridiculous when you think World Class defenders cost similar.
when you have skertl and sahko do you REALLY need a lump to head it out REALLY? we are fine to walk awy this year and shrug.
So much doom and gloom Lambert better option to have on the bench that Aspas - Tick! Lalana, bloody good player, we may have over paid for him but the boy will do wonders in our system.. Can, highly rated in Germany, seen him a couple of times in the CL as well as a couple of times on BT Sport and he's impressed me, stood out, most likely means the beginning of the end of Lucas, which is a shame. Lovern, has been identified by our manager has his number one defensive target, he's earnt my trust... #glasshalffull #notfootymanager

yup rodgers first statement "build team round" looks like a oops moment as well the guys legs were gone then let alone now.... Its funny how that knee injury knackered him totally as pre that he could be everywhere. one injury serious as it was shouldn't make you just not able to run but there you go. the lesson is perhaps players dependent on running rather than actual talent to make the difference are not such a great bet.... henderson beware... one bad injury and i'd sell cos thre's always someoen willing to punt before the extent becomes known. Fletcher is another example. the lad is nothing like what he was.
He was but it seems he had to have the engine to be it.... Though I must say it's not so much slowness than an inability to get around that's the issue now
What's this clubcalll rubbish about hy relate and vertongen then? I mean I'd let spurs give Southampton 20 for lovern if it meant vertongen was going for half that.... That to me would be a bargain rather then more alderweirld or lovern talk
When Suarez goes, will we replace him with a real world beater a proper big name, like a Reus, a Rodriguez?
Nope, don't think so. I might be wrong, but I think we'll stick to our strategy of promising players in the range of 10-20 million (or 25 if its Lallana).
It'll probably be Markovic. Which will be depressing. Feel like we need a big signing to replace Suarez, for morale if nothing else.
