Fair enough. He looks like an accident waiting to happen to me and a lot of pool fans I know wanted Agger in the team over him.

He does have a very good pass completion ratio ( I suspect the Ray Wilkins tactic at play!)

Will be fairer to judge him after a second season as it usually takes defenders a while to adjust to the PL

Finally in his defence, he's a damn site better than Johnson (but so is my gran and she's 90!)

I expect this game to be repeated in Euro 2016 final, scoreline might be the other way round though.

France need to be more clinical

You watch his passes and the vast majority of them are forward to midfielder so coupled with high completion rate that's just what Rodgers wants. He looks ungainly by doesn't mean he is.

He has the potential the be very very good. Strong quick good in the air comfortable on the ball.

He does make the odd mistake (made 1 poor pass today) but overtone that should go out of his game.

It's funny people and commentators say he always looks like an accident waiting to happen. But he doesn't really make that many? He just needs someone dominant in terms of organisation to play with him.

Him and Carra would have been a brilliant ideal partnership I think

commentatots on about him being hauls of for the arsenal doneky cos he was said accident waiting to happen. the jealousy and targetting of a guy just cos he's keeping an arsenal player out is sick... also evra... played decent but they were likcing his scummy bumhole too.

my sweepstakes team delivered big time for me. I don't fancy brazil tonight... could be colombia v germany semi.

Sakho has now conceded ONE goal in all his World Cup games. And it wasn't his man. Koscielny let more goals than that in 10 minutes.

Plus Sakho's goals are the ONLY reason France were even at the World Cup.

Anyone claiming Koscielny is better than Sakho is a #racist. End of.

I think you lack an organiser at the back at the moment full stop, I don't think you've replaced Carra.
No one in the squad seems to have that ability. Take Skrtel, he's an instinctive defender capable of some saving challenges individually but he doesn't really read the game.

What we did see today was a bona-fide elite level CB in Hummels. For all the talk of potential of Varane and Sahko, he is the real deal and only 25!!
Anyone in for him, wouldn't get much change out of £30M i'd imagine (assuming he's not out of contract or running it down)

Haven't read back so I don't know what you guys have said, but I thought that game was a big pile of poo. Lawro is still an unfunny knobend and Sakho worries me.
I know the commentators are prejudiced against him, and I wouldn't go as far as they, but I really hope he improves because he looks awkward to me.
Feel free to ignore me if you've already discussed these things.
