I think he meant Lloris tbh, he does look a lot like Lloris and nothing like Courtois.

Missed the first half. Has it been a good game? Do Germany deserve their lead?

Good game. Chances both ways. Germany with the majority of possession, France looking dangerous on the break. Neuer the difference, so far. <ok>

Well this games got a bit dull all of a sudden.

Sakho off, not sure if it's a precaution on injury? Way commentators have been talking about him it's almost a surprise France are 5 down given how bad he is/ was playing and how prone to errors he apparently is!

Wow Mark Lawrenson makes Martin Keown sound like ****ing Shaft. He is the very worst. The Sakho abuse continues.

I don't get the Sahko defence on here. Is it purely that he plays for Pool or do people actually rate him? (and if so why?)

He played 18 games for Pool last season and there was 1 clean sheet in those 18 games.

We think he's better than he looks. He's no world-beater, but he has potential. It's a bit like when (some) Arsenal fans were defending Mertesacker when he first went to Arsenal and was having more than a bit of a 'mare.

I rate him. He didn't have a great season, few injuries, few mistakes. But every defensive player we have made a tonne of mistakes this year. The high pressing, attacking way we play invites pressure on the two centre backs.

He's strong in the air, good in the tackle and for all the stick he gets his pass completion is very high. If he had an experienced leader next to him I think he could become a great player for us, he is only 24 too.

Davis Luis is getting quite a bit of stick as well. FIFA #1 player at the WC so far, apparently. <whistle>

    So true. <laugh>
