Tiger tully says that Ince is having a round of golf whilst the lawyers complete his move here. So hopefully Ince should be confirmed today? Talk of him going to stoke is well wide of the mark else tiger tully would have been all over it as always.
Oddschanger ‏@Oddschanger 3m Stoke have today been cut to 2/1 from 16/1 to sign Thomas Ince with Hull out to 4/6 from 1/8 -> http://bit.ly/SkyTransfers bookies think theres something in the stoke talks.
I think he will go to Stoke. Disappointed if he does, not just because he's a good player, but that it'll be the second time in a few weeks we've lost a player to a team no better than us.
Tom Ince should worrying over his playing career not wonga. If he is not careful he will struggle to get any sort of top club. Spot on ^^^^^^ this. Dawson yesterday was reportedd to have said his goodbyes to Spurs team mates. Again spot on John ^^^^^ this. Ince is not that vital when all said and done. If he does then the wonga wins again. We dont need players like that. We want hungry players who want to win. Robertson looks handy and would be a steal @ £2m plus add ons. 2 more jocks eh ? SB can soon have his own version of the home internationals in training games at this rate.
? How would anyone know you meant that ? Anyhow it's not just that post, there's 70+ pages of people saying that people are to sign and when, it's all speculation, mostly bollocks, but like saddos we all read it and want to believe half of it, I'm as guilty as anyone
I don't know whose fault it is that he hasn't already broken into the team, at least in cup games, Is it his self-development or the club's development of him which has not been good enough? Look at players like Shaw etc. that start playing first team football from a younger age than Clark and yet he was at the same level as them a couple of years ago. You say he "could be very good" but surely he should be showing signs of that already?
Now that is a very good question. But he has to show something and quick but the fact that SB has given Clark a new 2 year deal shows he thinks the same. It is now time for Max to kick on and force his way into the domestic cup games at least ? It is a shame that Max Clark could not have gone under wing of Andy Dawson - but as we know Dawson left for Scunny. It maybe a bit of both so far ?
Maybe we don't need to invest in a left back and instead show a bit of confidence in the lad. Look what happened when Taylor got injured at Swansea, their young lad stepped up and has kept his place.
Yes. But we only have Figgs as an out and out left back. I prefer Figgy left of a 3 man defence mind. Joe Dudgeon has to prove his fitness and Max Clark needs to kick on. If both do then we could be over stocked with left backs.
He may well be this time next year. Dont see Figgs getting a new deal unless he has a belter of a season. Figgs had a good world cup actually.
Jonathon Margetts ‏@JonoMargetts Pleased to have signed another year contract with @hullcityteam. Looking forward to the season now hopefully be a good one!
Another who needs to kick on. Looking forward to Winterton on thr 15th. See the development squad in action.
SSN now reporting that Nik Bendtner's agent Tom Brooks is talking to a number of clubs and we are now putting the finishing touches to a deal. Brooks denies Eintracht Frankfurt have a deal in place for the player.
It doesn't say that City are putting the final touches to a deal - it says Bendtner is putting finishing touches to a deal somewhere. Doesn't mention us.
Hope it's us, despite what people say about him he's a very good player. His career has stalled and suffered due to him not being very good but he'd certainly add depth up front. I doubt it's us mind.
