I don't know what it is about Gooners and Spanners, but I can always tell the team they support. It's something about the way they look. I won't say "shifty" because that would make me sound like a WUM (which I'm not, as you can tell just by looking at me), but they definitely have something about them that screams "this man does NOT support the mighty Spurs!" Do any of you guys know what I mean?
I always get a feeling that I know when someone supports Arsenal. It's a certain hollow arrogance that's very hard to replicate they also love London and think they support a London club, which is funny. I find all the Chelsea fans I know to be very miserable and they prefer to talk about their jobs than football. Usually football is an escape for people from the mundane work they do, whilst the chavs embrace the tedium. The United fans will only talk football and allow themselves to be enthusiastic about it when other utd fans are around as they know full well how utterly pointless and embarrassing it is that they support a team that they've never seen play a game. Fulham fans tend to melt in the background and can't bare for anyone to dislike them. West Ham fans are unfathomably stupid. The supporters of superior Spurs smart, funny and very well endowed - infact the urinals in the Shelf stand are nearly a foot lower than the away end's.
It seems to me Arsenal fans are either skinny white men who are geeks or black rudeboys who love Arsenal coz of Ian ****e and Terry Henry. West Ham fans are all bitter working class people who watch Eastenders. Do you all love how i'm not being stereotypical
What was that Bono? Every time you clap a child dies in Africa? Well stop clapping then you self righteous pillock! Yep, definitely a gooner.
I once met a West ham fan at a bar in Durban. Shifty looking, bald, stocky, tatoos, couple of teeth missing. I spent a couple of hours talking to her though!
Our fans are actually supposed to be the richest, Sirt. If you ever take a trip to Hatton Garden and note all the Spurs memorabilia, then you might understand why!
Funny that, and there was me thinking that Islington was in London. I guess all the people from that area should support the 2nd nearest team to it then?
Have a read before Gaddafi the snide removes it... http://www.blog.woolwicharsenal.co.uk/2010/04/07/the-dark-history-of-tottenham-hotspur/
That's an Arsenal blog about the history of Arsenal. It's also full of ****e, which you'd expect, really. "In 1900, Tottenham won the Southern League title and in 1901 the FA Cup, but despite the fact that other London teams such as Chelsea..."? Is that the same Chelsea that didn't form until 1905?
