Doner burger / chips and can of Pepsi - nice healthy start to the weekend LOL - 8/10. Mick won't bet on G.Lee with stolen money
I've said this before but Colombia haven't played anyone yet so it's easy to get carried away saying they look good but they have had poor opposition and this is Brazil in the World Cup quarter finals in Brazil! I'd be miffed too if I'd backed Chile but at the end of the day Brazil were easily the better side and should have buried them in 90 minutes. I've not backed anyone to win the competition I've fancied Argentina from the start but not put any money on it. My only bet still going from the beginning is Benzema EW at 25s for Golden Boot and he was one of three I backed (Ronaldo & Aguero being the other two) but unless he bags a hatrick against the Germans on his way out of the competition I think that's going down too!
Quality of Brazil team = Average. Pressure and expectations on Brazil team = Exceptional. Colombia 7-2
I've had a couple of quid only on Brazil -2 just a gut feeling mate. But if you've lumped on Colombia at 7/2 i sincerely mean it when i say i hope they win for you. I'd rather the underdog go through, someone win some money and the bookies suffer a loss so the very best of luck to you tonight
Curl Cat e/w at 16/1 in the next at Bellewstown. 16/1 looked too big, had a decent come back race at Naas last month after a year off and could be back on a winnable mark, or at least run a big race off of.
with 3 0-0 draws in their last 5 encounters it has to be worth a bet at 8.5/1. the other 2 games ended at 1-1 and a narrow 2-1 victory for Brasil. 5 goals in 5 games, i'm not expecting a goal fest.
Won the race well in the end, made hard work of it to begin with but responded well in the last couple of furlongs to get up for the win.
Cheers buddy. Obviously I've heard a good bit about the horse from the guy in work but I try not to be too influenced by tips and stuff I get from people. Fancied Wee Frankie strongly though just from what I've seen of him myself and following the form.
Just watching some of the racing on replay - Fantastic shouts on both Beacon and wee Frankie, well done to Mick and Fabio, keep up the good work fellas.
Cheers Blue, not a bad day nice win and double and a couple of near misses. Fancy Johnson to get an across the card double in the next 2 races and going for Pearl Noir e/w in the last at Bev. Hope he can make good use from stall 1. Currently 16/1.
Not a good day at the bookies in Dascombe yard today it seems. Don Sigfredo was backed all day and down to short prices and got beat after what was in my opinion another bad ride by Hayley Turner, Whilst Stec has just gone in at 33-1 unbacked under an apprentice called Jenny Powel, who looked very tidy and balanced and worth her 7lb. Hayley is not riding well at resent in my book and I say that with sadness as I like her a lot and think she is really good for racing.
Seems to be alot of confusion about who is going to win tonight. Just to confirm, the winners tonight are COLOMBIA, not COLUMBIA. Hope that clears things up.
